Travel
Hemingway in The Sun Also Rises warns of sinister books "read too late in life" that create romantic notions of travel in people old enough to know better. I sometimes think Kerouac's On The Road read at age 19 had the same impact on me. I agree with Hem (who would have known) when he adds "You can't get away from yourself by moving from one place to another. There's nothing to that." But I still love movement.
