Where I Lived in Colorado
The various residences of my turbulent Ft. Collins years... 20 months occupancy scattered over 7 years and 7 total residences: Infrequently on the lease, often on the couch, and usually just a satori away from leaving town.
(excuse the self-indulgence; these pics were taken out of pure nostalgia)
Title: View from Reservoir
Description: Horsetooth Reservoir; Ft. Collins, CO
Title: Before the Storm
Description: A cold night at City Park Ave, with a snowstorm approaching.
Title: Year 1: Ingersoll Hall
Description: My window at Ingersoll; my first residence away from home.
Title: Year 2: The Ramblewood Bus
Description: Cheap apartment living came at the cost of being miles from campus. But they did supply bus service which got me to classes... many of which I actually attended until dropping out.
Title: Year 3: Westfall Hall
Description: An eerie view of Westfall at night, where I sometimes lived
Title: Year 3: Mason Street
Description: I took refuge here after Westfall. A happy time... I hosted parties and met many of the folks who would come to define Ft. Collins for me. The positive associations were shattered by a brutal incident in the backyard shortly before I moved out.
Title: Year 4: Hobbit Lane
Description: With my lease up at Mason, I moved in with two friends who had rented a place in this conventional apartment building on Hobbit Lane. I slept on the coach, which lowered the rent... a factor we all appreciated.
Title: Year 4: Off Prospect
Description: Down on my luck, I took refuge in a tiny basement room in this strange apartment house. The room was actually rented by a friend who was rarely there.
Title: Final Home: East Myrtle
Description: Where I lived upon returning to Ft. Collins in 1995. Completely innocuous looking, this house once housed in endless supply of debates and distractions.
